We're Back

Wow! What beautiful Spring weather we've been having.

4x6innIMG_0861

I had a very relaxing "retreat" vacation with Lindsey, baby Noah, and Pat at Lake Skaneateles, NY.

We did a little scrapbooking, a little more shopping, and alot more stitching.  I did needlepunching, Lindsey learned how to make french knots, and Pat learned how to do wool applique.4x6lakeIMG_0838

Noah and I loved the lake. I could see it from our front windows and Noah loved looking out.

I am anxious to get back to the shop this week. We have great new merchandise arriving all the time. Our newest arrival is from SEI, pictured here. Come in and see for yourself this beautiful paper called Bridgeport. We have lots of matching embellishments, stickers, acrylic stamps, and new stamp pads. This picture shows a sampling of paper and embellishments. Come see the rest!BridgeportIMG_1356

A little bit of everything

Well, it is snowing again in the North East. I'm cold. I seem to have gotten a chill that keeps coming back. BUT I've got a lot of warm little thoughts to share.

First, these are the Valentine bags I made for some local children. I had a lot of fun decorating them and even adding their names to make them a little more personal.  I used the Revolution for the die cuts.Valentinebags
I also made these adorable Valentines using the paper from Fancy Pants. I love the googly eyes and, of course, I used a lot of stickles.  I made them with our two little sweeties, Kathryn and Elizabeth. I thought I took pictures of them working on the cards but can't find them so here are a few of the cards themselves. Sorry the picture is a little blurry.Valentinecards I now have the calendar with the January and February pages ready (still working on directions for the pages. Hope to finish tomorrow.) And the album with the covers and two sets of pages. (Also still needing directions.) So this month, you will have everything up to date. I will add some pictures of these next post.
I wanted to show you the newest addition to our pet family. Lindsey purchased a lamb, Violet. She is taking portraits with her at her new studio in Montrose. The lamb is so sweet.4x6lambIMG_5017 This is Kathryn and Violet.4x6lambIMG_5026 This is Elizabeth with Violet.4x6lambIMG_4989

Remember 20 Club

I finally finished the January calendar page. I got real hung up on the pictures for it, but love the way it turned out. My daughter and my niece had so much fun sledding down a huge hill on our farm that day. My husband had to pick them up at the bottom and take them back up so they could keep up the fun. It was a longggggg way down!

Anyone interested in joining this club please let me know soon, as I am making the kits and ordering the calendars.

The album club includes this 6" x 9" Making Memories album. I just love it and am looking forward to working on the inside pages.

I hope to post some of the Valentines I'm working on in the next day or two. They are fun, a nice diversion.

Where am I going now?

I love the new year. I love resolutions or maybe I love to think about where I've been this past year and where I want to go during the new year. Choices, personal, spiritual and business choices are what I have been thinking about recently. With some exciting results I hope.
First, I am starting a new club this year, two actually. They are the Remember Twenty Calendar Club and the Remember Twenty Scrapbook Club. This is not a class attending club but rather a pick it up and do it at home club. By the end of this month I will have a Calendar kit ready that includes the blank calendar, a January page kit and a February page kit (pictures to follow soon). I will also have a 6" x 9" album ready with the paper and embellishments kit to cover the album. The one time price for each club is $19.99 THEN...if you visit the shop each month between the 20th and the 29th (hence the name Remember Twenty) you will receive either the next month's calendar page or a two-page album spread free.
Don't you just love this idea. I love it so much I want to join!!!
So visit again soon to see one or both of these awesome creations.
But just to add a little FUN to this enry I'm adding a picture of my grandson Noah. He is 3 1/2 months old already. What a cutie!
